Our goal is simple...
Build the most robust digital library of culturally relevant short stories.
We want kids of color to see themselves reflected in the stories they read. We want young scholars to be empowered by characters that look like them. We want storylines to be relevant. We want the language to be relatable.
We want kids to enjoy reading... PERIOD!
The only way to accomplish this goal is building a library of original content.
In partnership with MN Comeback, we developed a digital school finder supporting families in Minneapolis. We believe our families should have access to current school data and 1-on-1 educational support from Family Advocates.
Moving forward we are licensing the technical foundation of the Minneapolis school finder to support other cities around the country.
In partnership with Tish Jones & TruArtSpeaks, MusicNerdz delivers Hip-Hop pedagogy at scale. Classroom lessons wrapped around lyrics by Nas, Kendrick Lamar, Jay Z, 2Pac, and many other artist transforms classroom engagement at the high school & college level.
